Depois de o guitarrista principal Miguel e o baterista Diogo abandonarem a sua antiga banda, decidiram formar uma nova banda com outro amigo, Vitor (Vocalista e Guitarra Ritmo). Pouco tempo depois convidaram um novo membro para a banda, Marco (Guitarra Baixo) e nomearam a banda de Slaves To Rage (S2R). Inicialmente a banda apenas tocava covers de Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc.. até que Marco incentivou o resto da banda a concentrar-se em compôr material original. Então algum tempo depois surgiu a primeira musica original intitulada de "Hatred". Algum tempo depois o baixista Marco teve que abandonar a devido a problemas pessoais e entrou o Jorge Simões. A banda estreou-se em palco a 24 de Janeiro de 2009 na Casa Viva (Marquês, Porto - Portugal) já com 3 temas originais.
A banda ja conta com a participação num concurso de bandas (Concurso de bandas JCP) e já deu vários concertos em diversos locais. Encontra-se de momento a compôr temas originais e já pensa na gravação de EP.

After de lead guitar Miguel and the drummer Diogo quit their former band, they decided to form a new band with their other friend Vitor (Vocals and Rythm Guitar). Shortly after they invited a new member for the band, Marco (Bass Guitar) and named the band Slaves To Rage (S2R). Initially the band only played covers from Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc.. until Marco encouraged the rest of the band to concentrate on composing new material. So some time later appeared the first original song entitled "Hatred". Some time later the Bass player Marco had to quit the band due to personal problems and Jorge Simões joined. The band debuted on stage at 24 January 2009 at Casa Viva (Marquês, Porto - Portugal) already with 3 original themes.
The band has already participated in a band competition (Concurso de bandas JCP) and has several concerts at various locations. At the moment the band is writing new songs and thinking about recording the first EP.
